I believe the promo credit can be applied to anything sold by Amazon. Check redflag deals hot deals forum for more info.

Nice. I nabbed mine. I believe this works only for Amazon gift cards (and not others like PSN, iTunes etc.) but you can easily send it to yourself and save an additional $10 on regular purchases.
I also read it's once per account, so if you have multiple accounts or want to take advantage again on a significant other's account, you can.
