A back up camera serves a purpose. A door that opens up instead of swinging or sliding is just a needlessly complicated gimmick and it sounds like they're proud of just how expensive and inefficient maintaining it will be once your warranty ends.

I don't think anyone's really arguing that Falcon doors aren't a gimmick.
This is a $135k SUV. Its owner's do not care about costs after warranty.
