I have zero trust in them to use tax dollars wisely and flat out refuse to contribute anymore to the current government fat and entitlement while the private sector struggles.
Which is why in every comment on the issue I've also said we need to cut spending. That's what's so frustrating about the politics around the province's finances. Those on the left think we can get muddle through by raising taxes and not cutting spending. Those on the right think we can balance the budget by cutting spending only. Both are deluded by ideology - we need to do both. Is practical centrism even politically viable in this province?
