I was able to stream the game at my desk, at work...happily it was a quiet night.

On Blues fans clapping the loss...I know a couple of Blues fans that feel that Hitch has done all he can with the team, and want to see a change to a more fluid offensive style.

To the guy that complained about the 'Hawks setting picks, I challenge you to find a carried in zone entry/exit by the Blues where the strong side winger DOESN'T trap block the strong side defender.

On the game...the reverse angle on the disallowed Tarasenko goal, showed that Lethera did NOT hold the line as the puck was banked in...that's offside, according to the rules. That may be the FIRST successful challenge I remember Q having since New Years Day.

As far as the Shaw goal...Elliot crosschecked Shaw OUTSIDE the blue, to start the play...the puck seemed to have already bounced over his left pad, into the net, before there was any other contact (when Shaw got pushed into Elliott by Shattenkirk...on the overhead view, Shaw pivoted cleanly (like a table hockey player) and got two whacks at the puck, scoring on the 2nd, before the contact. Also, as someone else mentioned in this thread, Brouwer got a free crosscheck in on Seabrook, with impunity.

The Blues seemed to spend a lot of time chasing the 'Hawks around to hit them, and the 'Hawks nearly sprung their stretch pass, a couple of times (Boumeester should have been called for a penalty shot for a slash to the hands on a Kane breakaway, so the Blues had THEIR breaks from the stripes too).

Honestly, I've said before, the only Blues that scare me are Steen setting up Tarasenko...the rest of their forwards simply are grinders. Now, grinding CAN hem the 'Hawks in the d-zone, especially when washed up Rozival is caught out there., but, I feel that the 'Hawk offense is more varied and dynamic, for the Blues.

I too feel that the Blues are mentally fragile, with regard to playing the 'Hawks...and will have issues in Chicago where Q will control matchups after stoppages.
