Friend of mine told me in Scotland they can charge GBP 500-600 for 2 months of unlimited golfing and he was shocked by the high green fees charged in Calgary.

2 edge sword though. I heard last year was one of the worse business wise in the Calgary area due to the high cost of green fees.
I can't imagine in the economic climate this year it will be much better. Not to mention the crazy amount of membership deals available right now.
