I didn't here the presser with Treliving, did someone in the media ask him if Hartley would be back, and he was non commital? Or did it simply not come up?
If it's the latter, then this "Treliving didn't give the vote of confidence" stuff is made up. Of course he didn't, Hartley still has a contract next year. GMs don't usually go out and highlight that coaches under contract will be back, they simply don't say anything. Sometimes they might say things are being evaluated if they are truly thinking about a coaching move, but you don't come out and say anything about your coach if you aren't thinking of firing him before the start of next season, you just say nothing.
