Checking the quote, the coach says that Laine will be more effective when he can combine the goals and the aggressiveness. Not a flaw that will hold him back but like a direction where should go as he matures. You don't expect a 17 year old to have everything figured out.
As for drafting, I deeply care whether or not either Finn ends up in Edmonton, because that might become a disaster for their development. It's an awful situation to have such a black hole of an organisation in the league. It's a genuine fear that they simply keep sucking in young talent and turning them into losers.
A team that feels like they're set at center might perhaps consider Laine before Matthews, otherwise you build from center. A team like the Flames might think about Laine, Columbus never. Matthews is still the number one in most scenarios.
