I didn't find a thread relating to pools with a quick search, but I may have missed it. Apologies if that's the case.
Since I'm not much of a gambler, I'm looking around for playoff pools that are both free to enter and offer prizes. In the past, CBC, Sportsnet, TSN have all had good ones, but I'm not finding a whole lot this year. Here's a list of the few I've found:
- Sportsnet Fantasy Playoffs Pool - Grand prize worth over $50,000. Interesting format where you pick teams for each round with something like a salary cap. I made a league called "Calgary Puck" with the password "cp2016" if anyone is interested in joining. I realized after that it might be properly called "Calgarypuck", but I couldn't seem to change it after. C'est la vie. Edit: if someone with more seniority wants me to pass pool admin to them instead, I'm happy to do it.
- NHL.com Bracket Challenge - Pretty much what it sounds like. Looks like someone already started a league called "Calgary Puck" here with a lot of members signed up.
- CBC Pool - No info on this one. As of writing this, the site isn't live. Edit: on further inspection, I'm not even sure this is a current pool. Maybe disregard.
Anyone know of any others that are worth entering?
