was there any explanation as to why they scheduled the draft lottery later this year?
I always liked having the lottery done the day before the playoffs, for obvious reasons, as a fan of a non-playoff team.
perhaps nhl/roger's way to keep people enticed in hockey up here in Canada into the playoffs?
