Though Mark Giordano couldn't repeat his Norris-calibre performance from 2014-15, his 2015-16 season was still one for the ages. His 21 goals, a career-high, was the most by any Flames defenseman since the days of Al MacInnis. He set a new career-high in points, as well. Gio had a rough start to the season, but really came on as the year ended. Next year, if he can play the whole season at full form, a playoff berth could come the Flames' way - as well as a Norris for their captain.
