Anyways, for the most part the trail was dry, however, there were enough wet spots, ice spots and trees down to prevent us from feeling like we got in any real flow. The uphill struggle seemed long and steep and my quads were crying.....
On the way home, my buddy and I stopped at Calgary cycle as they were having a sidewalk sale. For $225 I picked up a new poc backpack, poc trabec helmet and a pair of bontranger fat biking gloves - not really stuff I needed but the price was great.
