Jones went for the 13th OA pick in the 2015 draft. Talbot went for a 2nd(57th), 3rd(79th) and a 7th(184th).
Jones looks like an overpayment whilst Talbot looks like an astute trade by the Oilers. A late 2nd, mid 3rd and a 7th for an NHL average goaltender(no mean feat on a team as bad as the Oilers) is a very workable price.
