we have been to cancun (can't remember the anme of the hotel, but it was across the street from bubba gump/mararitaville), mayan Riviera/playa del Carmen (Bahia principe - I think) and Puerto Vallarta.

I like cancun the best because it had the nicest beach, and since we were across the street from restaurants we had dining options and we could also walk to the two malls.

playa was alright - I did not think the beach was nearly as nice - my wife did nto want to go to playa so we did not really elave the resort.

Puerto was the worst of the three, food was not good, resort was not good.

personally my choice would always be cancun - but since we have been three times, I doubt we will go back.
