MAF is a very good goalie and established. He's won the show and constantly got them to the show.
I'd certainly hope the Flames try with a decent offer if they can snag him if he ever became available.

This argument doesn't defy logic at all. Pittsburgh makes the playoffs and then bows out early because MAF is a terrible playoff goalie. If he was even average in the playoffs, the Pens would have won multiple cups.
Let me spell it out again: If the Flames had a good goalie, they would have made the playoffs. If the Pens had a good goalie for the last decade, they would have won multiple cups.
