RE: the Festool system. I love them. For me personally it was a kick in the nuts to purchase them due to the cost. Now that I have them - I will never look back. For the woodworking I do it has been a game changer. The precision and accuracy they allow for has quickened the production and elevated the quality of my products.
I have never used their drills but rank them at the top simply based off the reputation of their other tools I have used.
Would I recommend their stuff to weekend warriors - no not really, it is not necessary. If you are in the profession and use them on a daily basis. Yes, do yourself a favor and get them, they are far and above the best tools I have ever owned.
