Stajan and Backlund had more ice time than the year before.
Of the heroes of the stretch run and playoffs 4 out of the 6 years that carried the team Hudler, Russell and Wideman and Brodie for various reasons had diminished roles.
Gaudreau and Monahan were basically the same part of the team as they were the year before. Maybe they can get better but not likely to get more ice time going forward.
Engelland not getting any more ice time after his stretch run and playoffs is somewhat surprising.
