While I applaud MacLellan's presser - and I applaud it LOUDLY - I can't but think that he is part of the problem, not the solution.
I mean, exactly how many times has he benched Eberle, Hall, etc., during games where they showed poor effort? How many times has he made one of the high-pedigree players (not counting Yakupov) a healthy scratch?
He hasn't made them accountable. It was a good speech, no question, but is it really any different than interviewing one of their players at the conclusion of yet another smelly turd of a game?
