"I was fantasizing about this being the last Edmonton Oilers game vs the Flames and it was glorious. Last few games to end this misery, team moves to Quebec and we get an expansion franchise to play in the new arena with a fresh start and a fresh history.
The worst part is they keep replaying old clips of past successes and we as fans have been made to hate the glory years because they keep shoving that in there like its still relevant. You have done it Edmonton Oilers, you have made me hate the 80's Oilers and your constant nostalgia trek. At this point it does not feel like glory years but more of a curse.
Give us a new team please."
