Those pace numbers represent 42 games. That's half a season worth or games played. And the sample starts in mid November, which just short of the beginning of the season.

Because of this team's cap situation with Monahan and Gaudreau, the post-deadline team is going to be more representative of what we're going into next season from a skater perspective with than the pre-deadline team.
