Well Ortio is playing in front of a dismantled roster. We dealt Hudler and Jones for no help up front, basically eliminating our forward depth. That has meant our lineup has looked shady especially when injuries hit. Judging Ortio's win/loss record post trade deadline seems questionable given the circumstances. If Treliving adds two top six wingers in the offseason to a similar roster to what we have now you'd think that similar performances by Ortio or whomever would result in more wins than we are currently banking. It's questionable to use pace numbers and extrapolate when a huge part of the sample size might need to be thrown out.
