I think Jankowski needs at least a year in the minors, maybe more. Given his lack of pro experience and the position he plays I can't see him making the team next fall in any scenario unless Backlund, Monahan or Bennett is injured. He still needs to fill out, still needs to learn the pro game. Patience young grasshopper.
