These are the pains of a rebuild. 3-4 years ago we all knew this was coming. And now here we are. Suffering through the ups and downs of it.
But it would be hard to have faith in anyone else other then Treliving. I try to picture other GMs in his position and what kind of shape we'd be in with one of them. Imagine having George McPhee who was available at the time. Or Ray Shero. Or if Feaster was kept on board and in charge right now. *Shudder*
While the Flames are rebuilding on the ice, they were certainly also rebuilding the front office. BT is a man on a mission, and a man with a vision. Yes the team is painful to watch this season. But I don't think you'll find very many Flames' fans who don't see a light at the end of the tunnel.
