I would be really disappointed if the Flames just dumped Hiller to the curb without giving him a chance to showcase himself. This is the man's livelihood here. He played well for the Flames last year, and they owe him some respect.
As long as the team in front of him is competitive, the result does not matter.

Nonsense.
They have shown Hiller enough respect throughout the year already. It's not happening for him. He's done here at the very least, if not entirely done as an NHL goalie.
This should be Hiller's final game this season.
