The reason I have high hopes is that he was kind of slow and weak before. His bones grew way before the muscle, a guy like Joe Colborne had much more size to start with.
As Jankowski acclimates to a lanky body he'll get stronger and faster several seasons in a row. If he tops out at 210-220 he'll gain coordination, strength and speed.
Not many players are built like him and he has a real chance at becoming part of the team if he has size and speed. He's going to continue putting on weight and getting better whereas most guys reach a natural weight much earlier.
