Eichel and Gaudreau had extra games playing for their country in the WJC and world championships.
Other than Flames prospect scrimmages I don't know that Jankowski has skated outside the Eastern time zone. Playing in the Boston area over 30 out of his 40 games were an hour drive from home. ie not Denver or UND or even Michigan.
He has not had the travel league experience of the USHL or Canadian Junior hockey as most NCAA players have had.
Has he ever been on a bus for a 6 hour travel day?

I'm going to defend Ricardo here.
The only thing he's saying is that Jankowski will likely require a year to adapt to the nature of the pro game as he's only done high school hockey and college hockey.
That's fair. He's not criticizing the player.
