What a first class guy. I have no doubt that if he really wanted to play hard ball he could have burned a year and still gotten his bonuses but he chose to let the team decide what's best for his development. How can you doubt this kid? Six more years and he will be the best player from the 2012 draft

Regardless of his NHL role, I really think Treliving wants him to be able to win a ton of faceoffs at that AHL level and be around that 210-220 lb mark. A 220 lb 6'4" center who can win faceoffs, that's something that would sure help against our mortal enemy Ryan Getzlaf.
