Yes he has. His numbers have improved in the OHL. He's the first player since Tavares to post a 2+ PPG in two seasons in the OHL. And "Terrible" is very much hyperbole. He tied for the team lead in scoring at the world juniors and was very good in their last game.
Nylander doing what he did in the AHL puts him right there. He and Marner were back-to-back in the hockeys futures rankings.(7 and 8th best prospects in hockey).
