I always forget that Monahan is actually younger than Gaudreau, I know its only a year but still I have it in my head that Sean is the older one and Johnny is the younger one.
Anyways Monahan is on his way to eclipsing his 62 point mark he set last year which is really really impressive.
I wonder what Monahans ceiling is? I mean he is almost again at 30 goals and he is only 21 years old.
We are lucky to have Monahan on the Flames. I won't lie I was disappointed when he was benched with Gaudreau for the off ice stuff but I can only think back to when I was his age and all the shenanigans that I was up to, its really hard to blame the guy for enjoying his life when he is young!
Let's hope he can hit 30 goals again!
