I was the one who fought it in our house and I'm glad I gave in. My kids got years of enjoyment out of it, and they learned how to do somersaults, backflips, etc. It amazes me how skillful they got on it for kids who are not into sports at all.

We had the net, but that has a lot of issues, they hang on it, climb it, and fly into it on a regular basis, I think it builds a false sense of security. It only lasted 3 seasons and then it was too damaged to keep.

You can have all the rules you want, they go out the window the first week.

And you'll be amazed how many kids actually live in your neighborhood.
