I have Starchoice, but the timeshifting is great. Watch any show you want early. The prime time schedules are often set for the East and Pacific zones, so you can catch the primetime block from 6pm to 9pm from the east. (and if it is on NTV (Newfoundland TV) it can be even earlier). It is also good if there are good shows that overlap. Just watch one from one timezone, one from another. CBC Calgary blacking out the Stamps game? Watch it on CBC Ott (or Mtl, or TO, or WPG, or REG...). Yeah, there is a lot of duplication, but it is sometimes interesting to see what is going on in the local news from other places. I grew up in London On, so I sometimes watch CFPL news. And with a PVR (I built my own -
MythTV) I record the early shows and watch them when I want.
