So some more thoughts. I think that third inquisitor is hunting Maul.
If you also look at his fingers and toes, the new inq has three fingers and 2 toes, is he a Lestat like Zeb?
I can't remember if Ashoka had any contact with Maul in the Clone Wars, That was more of an Obi-Wan story line thoughout. So would she know Maul on appearance.
I tend to think that the big lie is that Maul is going to position himself as a Jedi on the run, and suck Ezra in with the do what you have to do to protect your friends angle.
I've had a change of heart in some aspects the more I think about it. I think Ezra does fall, and he falls hard, I believe that poor Ahsoka is going to die, it only makes sense that Vader is shown as truly evil at this point in his life and consumed by anger and grief and hatred and rage.
I think at that point in the end game when he see's this Maul convinces Ezra that his way is the right way and they leave and Kanaan is forced to flee with his crew.
We end the season with the hunt continuing for Ezra and Maul and the hunt continuing for the Ghost crew.
I've heard rumors of an additional really intriguing character making an appearance and being cemented into Canon in this episode as well. Probably as a holocron ghost.
But having Ezra flee into wild space with Maul at the end would certainly be a tease to the Snoke is Ezra theory.
