Jankowski never played in the game they were eliminated in due to illness. I'd imagine that you'd have to be down with something pretty bad, if you don't play a game that is your entire season on the line. I'd imagine that the real reason there is no update on contract status is because they are letting him deal with illness, the loss, and everything surrounding the situation.
