I happen to agree with Flash here (and find it surprising!). I don't think Iginla wanted out merely because he was sick of Calgary. Iginla had stated that he was not interested in a rebuild.
Now in hindsight, that trade didn't seem to do much for the future of the Flames (though I am not writing Klimchuk off, and I think Agostino could be a pretty good 4th liner or maybe even a 3rd liner), but far from the shot in the arm that many felt it would bring to the organization.
