But I think I know what you are saying - that it's impossible to absolutely control a system so that it is considered closed and/or the conditions are identical.
I don't see the connection between memories and free will. Am I missing something?

The same test under the same conditions may not produce the same results when considering quantum physics. As the initial state of any system cannot 100% known.
I think a theist could wrangle God into quantum physics.
