Because he's over 20, Jankowski only requires one game played to accrue a professional season.
Connor is either 18 or 19 (depending on what date his age is counted on for determining professional status), so he requires 11 games played for this to count as a pro season (which he can't reach because the Jets only have 7 games remaining).
