The Isles have finally acquired a top end winger...and it is a player we hate but knows how to score.

Perry was dealt from the Yotes to the Isles today. Here is how the deal breaks down:

To Yotes

Callahan (72)
Connolly (64)
2nd (SJS) 16'

To Isles

Perry (75)
1st (DAL) 16'

The deal was built around Callahan + for Perry. Both are the same age, similar contract. Callahan is playing stellar in the CPHL so SIM wise it should help the Yotes. Additionally, the Yotes wanted some younger, legit CPHL'ers and we wanted a top line guy. Connolly was added to the deal.

At that point we felt the value slanted in the Yotes favor so we swapped 2nd and 1st rounders to get us a few more sslots up in the draft.
