Incorrect. If he signs today, he is considered 22 for contract purposes (22 on Sept 15th). It is a two year ELC.
If it signs for this season, it will run from 2015-17. In 2017-18 he will be eligible to pass to the AHL without requiring waivers, but will be on a normal contract like Bill Arnold.
If it signs for next season, it will run from 2016-18.
