The Kings are a juggernaut, built well and all their key players are still in their prime. Even still, they managed a bit of an off year and missed the playoffs just last year.

The Ducks three best forwards are 30 or older, and they are a budget team so might limit how well they can maintain their status. They do draft and develop really well though, and have a great young D core and strong young goaltending.

Those two teams will be very tough to supplant for sure.

The Sharks though, they've been bringing along some decent young talent the last couple of years, but they are going to have a tough time replacing what Thornton and Marleau bring, both 35+, as well as Burns and Pavelski who aren't spring chickens either. If anyone can be supplanted from the playoff picture, it's them and it could start as early as next season hopefully.
