I don't know about unfair. A big thing about getting Jankowski some NHL time over the AHL'ers is that they have plenty of hockey left in the AHL. At least more than Janko does right now. And for developmental purposes it's good to get Jankowski in some games to show him what to look forward to in terms of what he needs to do in the off season.
