The Jets currently have the tiebreaker.
We're tied at 68 points, so it goes to ROW which is also tied.
So in that case:
Quote:
The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included.

Jets won in Winnipeg 3-1.
Flames won in Calgary 4-1, but this one doesn't count in the tiebreaker.
Flames won in Calgary 4-1.
So both teams earned 2 points in the season series, so it goes to the 3rd tiebreaker:
Quote:
The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season. NOTE: In standings a victory in a shootout counts as one goal for, while a shootout loss counts as one goal against.

Jets sit at -27 goal differential, Flames at -30.
It's damn close though!
I've seen it speculated that the actual tiebreaker is GF divided by GA to once again to try and eliminate a tie.
WPG: 190/217 = 0.8756
CGY: 204/234 = 0.8718
