Finally finished the results. I apologize sincerely once again for the stupid delay getting this done. I had some major events occur in my life (moving, school, break-up), and in the midst of all that, I was was without an internet connection for a good 2 months or more. Anyways, finally got caught up and put the time and effort into completing this so we could find out who won. Hopefully all of you will let me off the hook for the tardiness and do this again next year, because it was fun.

Alright, the results:

In 12th place - Super-Rye - 7864 PTS.

Really went out on a limb with some of his picks, and most of them (aside from Rafi Amit) bombed. Although he did get Hellmuth right (top point earner, he had him first).

In 11th place - Pagal4321 - 7930 PTS.

Narrowly escapes the basement, thanks partly to a David Pham bracelet (he had him first), and a couple of solid picks in John Phan and John Hoang.

In 10th place - BlackEleven - 8338 PTS.

The trio of Seidel, Deeb, and Mizrachi (all in his top 4) earned him nothing, and he had Hachem and Williams a little low. Nice work with Lindgren and Luske though.

In 9th place - TimSJ - 8772 PTS.

The top half of his roster was pretty good (had Ivey, Negreanu, Williams, Lindgren all high), but lots of his guys failed to earn points and he had Hellmuth dead last.

In 8th place - VANFLAMESFAN - 9066 PTS.

Only 2 of his top 9 guys earned points. The middle of his roster was good (Phan, Williams, Hellmuth) but it's hard to make up that ground lost by all the "0-for" players.

In 7th place - FurnaceFace - 9754 PTS.

Good top 10, but he had Hellmuth and Cunningham a little too low to compete with the top finishers, and the second half of his roster had a bunch of duds. David Singer was a nice pick however.

In 6th place, the defending champion - Jiggy_12 - 10494 PTS.

Couldn't repeat his magic from a year ago. Had Hachem up pretty high, but Mizrachi on top hurt him somewhat as did his placing of Phil Ivey (a little low compared to others). Just didn't fall his way.

In 5th place - StrayBullet - 11546 PTS.

Seidel, Liebert, and Hansen up high hurt his chances, but he had all three big point earners (Hellmuth, Cunningham, and Ivey). Made a couple of great late picks in Jordan Morgan and Sammy Farha- if only they were higher on his roster...

In 4th place - evman150 - 12328 PTS.

Didn't evman predict he was gonna win this thing?! A solid effort, highlighted by a great top 6 selections. But 7-12 all batted .000, and he missed out on Cunningham. Still, 12000+ pts. is a good showing.

In 3rd place - Ro - 12534 PTS.

Had all the big point earners, but needed all of them just a few spots higher. Also, the 1-2 combo of Mizrachi and Ferguson (both were blanked) killed me. Daniel Alaei and JC Tran turned out to be nice sleeper picks.

In 2nd place - Fire - 12970 PTS.

After Ferguson, his 2-8 picks are probably the best of anyone's. Had all the big earners up high. But, ultimately, he needed Hachem and Cloutier a little higher, and missed Cunningham. Great selections though.

And in 1st place, your champion - Mike Oxlong - 13312 PTS.

Fire actually had more point earners, but Mike just had them arranged better. Had all the big guns in the top 12, and rounded those picks out nicely with some classic picks in Brunson, Chan, and Negreanu, which all turned out nicely. And again, the difference maker was Cunningham and his top 5 finish in the main event.

----

Thanks again to all for playing- we'll do it again 2007 style.

BTW, Shawna (now my ex-girlfriend ) faded near the end and finished with 12092 points.
