For those who understand these things, this is much different then the Montreal Canadians incident isn't it? In that case the bot was simply re-tweeting pictures with other peoples Twitter Handles in it, in this case, it seems that the bot was actually developing it's own unique responses based on other conversations. |
It was partially like the Canadiens situation as well. You could tell the bot to "repeat after me" and it would parrot whatever you wanted. But it also learned and adapted, and when 4chan got ahold of it, it was done.
