Ya the OHL actually have teams with some form of defensive system.
Players can score 130 points in the Q and never make an impact in the NHL.
Mangiapane isn't big, but he's fast. That's the asset every small player needs to succeed in the NHL.
I think he'll progress very well in the AHL next season. Maybe even to the extent of being a trade deadline call-up depending on who is still in front of him.
Coaches have voted him the most underrated player. We as Flames fans shouldn't be taking this kid lightly anymore. Tempering expectations is fine, but I'm not considering Mangiapane a longshot to make it anymore.
