That's what we should be hoping for. The odds of him achieving that are stacked against him. Big points in junior doesn't mean anything. There are a ton of players that were big time scorers in junior that couldn't translate that to the professional ranks. Just looking at the OHL in the past will tell you that. Look at these guys that were big scorers (100 pts) in the OHL and drafted outside the first two rounds. Look at the careers they have had. Do yourself a favor and take a look at it. Stats are available on the OHL web site and you can look the players up in hockeydb to see where they ended up. That should help temper your expectations and keep your enthusiasm in check. Mangiapane is an intriguing prospect, but he still has a very uphill climb to make. Getting Paul Byron out of him would be a win at this point. Anything more is gravy.
