As interested in the 1st/2nd round as I am, I've been checking out some prospects slated to go later.

I'm quite interested in Brinson Pasichnuk. Not just because his first name is my last, and Brooks Laich is the closest I've come to sharing a name with an NHLer. He is a very mobile left shooting PMD. He seems to have a very fluid and strong stride. To go along with a strong outlet pass, his point shots, though not bullets, have decent velocity and have eyes for the net. He is leading AJHL dmen with 65 points in 52 games. His 161 PIM shows he plays with a bit of an edge too.

Sadly, I'm paraphrasing a friend of mine from Bonnyville, as I haven't been able to check him out myself. I'd be ok with spending a 3rd or 4th rounder on him.
