A few analysts have pointed out that the subways weren't closed after the airport bombs and probably should have been. Looks like the subway attack was about an hour after the airport- how quickly and efficiently can you shut down a subway system in a city like Brussels anyway? Maybe it was the plan, but they just didn't have enough time.
Wonder if this will be a point of criticism in the coming days.
