Uh, so Apple's new feature...

Live Photos. It's a marketing bizzaro! Apple has invented...short movies without sound! But no, it's a "live photo". How that differs from a video(or Vine) only makes sense in the world of Apple, I guess. Are they just getting desperate for ideas? Could you imagine the guy pitching this...
"Ok, I've got an idea. We will record a series of pictures, and call it... Live Photos!"
"Uh, isn't that a video?"
"No, because get this! We'll do it without sound!"
"uh, so a gif?"
"No, it'll be full quality!"
"So an HD video without sound then, that lasts 1.5 seconds?"
"Now you are getting it!"
"...and people will record these huge live photos on their 16GB iPhone?"
"That's the brilliant part, we can either sell them the 64GB version for $130 more, or sell them extra storage on their iCloud account! No one ever wants to delete anything, so we just fill it up and take more money!"
"It's free money from the suckers! Woohooo!"
"Someone give Derrick a raise!"
And so on...
