I had fun doing my backyard from scratch.

Do it in this order and you'll be laughing:

- Build a fence (price match Rona, Home Depot & Lowes and get someone to price match minus 10% to save a few bucks).
- grade the yard with top soil (get a big cube of dirt from Burnco)
- Plant some trees/shrubs around the edges (I got all my stuff from Beaver Dam Nursery just south of the City, they are cheaper than other located in the city and everything survived so far)
- Lay the sod + add a lot of water.
- Add more water.
- Wait a year then stain or paint the fence.
- Enjoy and drink beer.
