What is respectable... will it be enough if Jankowski gets in 40 games next year as a 4th liner.
I would think that the criteria for considering it a successful draft pick would be for him to get to the level that the 7 players that the Flames passed on to trade down to pick Jankowski (and then also get Sieloff)

These all are established NHLers who will all expected to be full time NHLers next year and play more than 200 NHL games.
Will the Jankowski supporters be valid do a victory lap if Jankowski is able match the career of Laughton? ie 100 NHL games 10-12 minute/game over the next 2 seasons? laughton would be the weakest to date of the 7 guys picked ahead of him.
Will he be a 13 minute/game 20 pt/season energy player like Wilson?
It would be too much to imagine that he would be a top 6 forward like Hertl/ Teravainen. Ceci is a 19 minute /game top 4 d-man with 200 NHL games and 2 20 pt season.
These were all the guys on the board that Feaster and Company were pretty sure would be drafted ahead of Jankowski, but they knew were not at all as good as Jankowski was going to turn out.
