He's got new twin babies and took a month off for "paternity leave" (which Boomer and Warrener have predictably been chirping him about), in Australia with the in-laws. He's supposed to be back on the show on Monday I believe, as his temp replacement Josh Humphries mentioned on Friday it was his last show.
And I love the morning show. Yeah it hasn't been as good lately with Pinder gone, I'm happy he's back on Monday. They all just play off each other so well, they've been missing that Pinder energy that Boomer detests. I love Warrener on there, but completely disagree with the idea of just making Warrener host it, with another ex-player. Dude's good at what he does - being the wild card with funny stories. If he actually had to host and carry the show it'd be awful, he's too laid back and doesn't give a crap. I'm sure he'd agree it'd be awful too.
And OP, I've been wondering about this too, I really miss the EF segments - I'm sure the morning guys do too. At first I was almost wondering if Boomer chirped Elliott's stripy socks one too many times or something, but EF hating the fallout from his rumours doesn't surprise me. He almost pulled out last year about the same thing. Sad if true (has this been confirmed?), but unsurprising.
